EDIBLE SURFACES, DESIGN YOU CAN EAT

by Pierre HIVERNAT

Bouygues Télécom, Pierre Hermé, Louis Vuitton or Labeyrie...designer Germain Bourré keeps excellent company. Nevertheless, when you talk with him, you quickly realize that what motivates him is not necessarily a list of prestige clients, but rather projects where people actively participate in sustainable development.

STUDIO BLUMENFELD NEW YORK PASSING THROUGH, THE SHOW IS ON!

by François Cheval

A major event at the Cité de la Mode et du Design, the Studio Blumenfeld New York 1941-1960 exhibition, will launch the 2017 cultural season. With this show, outdoors and inside, expertly designed by Vasken Yéghiayan, the Cité reveals this photographer’s experiments with color through a selection of images, around thirty of which have never been on public display. The interactive app, designed by Fixioneers, which can be downloaded through June 4th, 2017 via the Appstore and Google Play, is both an audio guide and a digital catalogue; it also offers the chance to play around with the layout of a fashion magazine, or use filters and other special effects in the Blumenfeld style.
